Rick Alvarez
Supervisor of House Mosquito Program
Rick started his career with the District in 1990 as a Vector Control Technician. He was promoted to Supervisor of the House Mosquito Program in 1992. As Supervisor, Rick is responsible for managing the House Mosquito Program for the District, updating mosquito source records, and responding to service requests across the entire District. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Rick is a certified Vector Control Technician in Categories A through D through the California Department of Public Health Vector Control Certification Program.
