Larry Roberts was first appointed to represent the City of Dinuba on the Board of Trustees in January 2011. His current term expires on December 31, 2024.

After a nearly 30-year career with the Dinuba Fire Department, Larry continues to serve his community by teaching a fire science course at both the Dinuba and Selma high schools to students interested in becoming future firefighters. He has also been a member of Dinuba Kiwanis for the past 20 years. Larry’s biggest passion is enjoying his three children and nine grandchildren along with his wife of 49 years.

Larry enjoys being a Board Member because it has a similar mission to that of a firefighter, protecting life and property. By serving on the Board, he is continuing to help protect public health by eradicating mosquitoes and the threat of diseases they carry.
