Andrea Troupin
Scientific Program Manager
Andrea started working for Delta MVCD in 2020. As a biologist, Andrea is responsible for disease testing for the District. Prior to working for Delta MVCD, Andrea worked for Santa Clara County Vector Control as a Vector Ecologist and for San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control as a Seasonal Aide II. She has also authored or co-authored over 15 research papers and one book chapter.
She holds a B.S in Biology and a B.A. in Anthropology from California State University, Bakersfield as well as an M.S. in Public Health with a focus in Parasitology from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Andrea is certified by the California Department of Public Health as a Vector Control Technician in Categories A through D.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys rock climbing, riding horses, and spending time with her cats.
